Traveling with just one baby was such a breeze. Lila was an angel & completely won over the hearts of the 3 grandmothers seated next to us. We had a great time.
Reuniting with Savannah & Will was a total thrill. They tackled me at first sight, and I just couldn't get enough of their sweet hugs, kisses, and stories. They have been so happy here at my parents' house, so well taken care of, and so so loved.
After MANY hours of sleep (thanks to my mom & dad who love nothing more than to get me to rest!) we all had a long, happy, outdoor California day together.
The only thing missing from our wonderful day was time spent with Rod. We love you so much & miss you, Daddy!
Savannah loves helping Grandma & Papa in the garden. In fact, she asked me if she can pull all of our weeds when we get back to Dallas!

Hmmm. Maybe I wasn't wrong to tell Ben to start looking for a job in California. It looks beautiful! I just emailed you.
Looks like you are all having fun and I"m so glad that you are finally able to catch up on some sleep! We had dinner with Rod on Friday night and sat by him at church today so he's sorta being watched after! We all miss you!!
