Mighty Dragons

Will's soccer team just celebrated the end of another great season! Rod coached the practices and Will improved so much. He scored several goals this season. We are so proud of our little dragon!

Will's 5th Birthday Party

Will turns 5 this week and we celebrated at an indoor swimming pool. We had the place to ourselves and the kids loved it.

I was especially proud of my killer whale sugar cookie cake (that's a ninja riding on top)

Ward Halloween Party

I organized the ward Halloween Party this year. We all had such a fun time.

The Bouncehouse was the highlight of the night

Sunday on the Katy Trail

We spent our Sunday afternoon enjoying cooler temperatures out on the Katy Trail.

Savannah couldn't stay out of the bamboo...



And Buster finally learned how to walk on a leash!

Texas State Fair

We love love love the Texas State Fair. It was extra special this year because we got to share it with grandma!

Arboretum

My mom came into town last week and brought 7 days of fun-filled adventure!

Her favorite part of the trip was the Arboretum. It's always a hit in October!

Hyer Carnival

Pretzels and a Bike Rodeo

Friday morning was a busy one as we headed to Will's school to bake homemade soft pretzels with his class...


And then rushed over to Savannah's school to watch her ride in the Bike Rideo



Both activities were lots of fun and we feel so lucky to have such amazing schools.

First Haircut

Buster got his first haircut and couldn't look cuter.

The girls and I loved the bow but it drive Will crazy!

Welcome Fall!!!

After a way-too-long-and-hot Texas summer, we are thrilled to welcome fall!

We celebrated by enjoying a breezy afternoon at the Arboretum, and we are looking forward to many more just like it!

More Buster

Since we are so in love with our sweet & mellow Buster, we take him in the car with us whenever we can.

He has become a regular attendee for preschool pick up, and today he was invited inside for a special "show & teach".

The kids (of course) just loved him!

Roller Rinking

This summer, Savannah had her first roller rink experience, and she just can't get enough!

She loves everything about it...the hokey pokey, the speed race, the limbo contest, the nachos...and I get a kick out of seeing that some things never change! Our local roller rink has wood paneling, burgundy carpet, disco balls, and everything else that goes along with a good throw back to my own childhood.

I think we'll be spending a lot of time here...

Savannah had the opportunity to celebrate her 7th birthday
*again*...this time at school.

She was so happy to make her birthday crown, to stand on her desk for the happy birthday song, and to make cookies for all of her friends.
