I asked Rod to take the camera to their first practice.
This is the only picture he brought home...Savannah bending down, picking flowers.
The truth is that, despite all the sweet & valiant efforts from her father, this photo really is an accurate depiction of Savannah's current interest in soccer.

She's picking up a lady bug. She wanted to take it home, but I convinced her to let the bug stay with its family and friends.
That is so awesome! Don't worry, she'll be following in the great tradition of her parents soon enough. Taking time to stop and smell the flowers or pick up lady bugs is okay for now. :) I love the pics of your kids with your mom. So fun!
Savannah & Amelia should be on the same team-- she could carry ladybugs while Amelia carries her doll.... :)
It could be worse - For Sophie's first 2 to 3 games she was playing "Ring around the Rosy" in the middle of the soccer field with her little girl friends. Kids are so transparent!!! :)
