Cattails

I've loved taking the kids on morning walks here in California.
We just wake up, hop in the stroller, and head out to explore, jammies & all.

We recently passed a creek lined with cattail plants (which we never see in Texas) Savannah asked me, "Hey Mom, is that where hot dogs come from?" That just cracked me up. so, I hiked down to the creek & picked a couple of cattails for them to play with. They made an unbelievable mess tearing them apart & I just enjoyed the memories of doing the same when I was a kid.
