The area is just absolutely beautiful & a great reminder to us of how fabulous Texas can really be!
On the drive out, we took our kids for their first trip to Dairy Queen (also known as the "Texas Stop Sign"--no small town in Texas is complete without one!) They LOVED their M&M Blizzard!
We hiked out to see baby deer
The boys made cookies on the kitchen floor

Savannah drove the boat
We swam for HOURS
Rod leapt off the Cliffs of Insanity...
And tore it up on the water

You guys have the most fun vacations. I need to live by you! And yes...I cannot believe that you haven't owned a grill until now. Isn't it awesome?!
