At the Car Wash

The kids & I have a Wednesday tradition of going to the Car Wash.

I found the BEST little spot & I love, love, love it.

It's close to Love Field Airport, in a not-so-non-sketchy part of town. Wednesday is "Ladies Day". For $8, they THOROUGHLY wash the inside & outside, including windex on the windows & a complete towel dry. Today, I went crazy & spent $2 extra to have my backseat floor mats shampooed. Unbelievable.

On top of the great deal, it's a completely fun outing for my kids. I think I must be the only person who brings little ones along, because whenever they come, the entire crew goes crazy. They whip out suckers, give them high-fives, and offer all sorts of attention.

Will goes straight to the popcorn machine:

He then browses the greeting cards while enjoying his buttery snack:

And sits on the spinning stool (sucker in hand) to watch the cars roll through:

Good times!

Isn't it fun that kids think things like that are cool. Cute tradition.
