We're going Monday-Thursday, for 2 weeks in a row. The classes are 30 minutes long and consist of 3 children for 1 instructor.
The best part, as far as we're all concerned, is that the lessons are held at the Embassy Suites indoor pool. The kids get lots of water time, since they're allowed to splash & swim on their own while the other sibling is taking a lesson.
Over the years, I've learned that sometimes taking on more kids actually makes things easier for me...so long as I choose wisely.
So, today I showed up for swimming lessons with 6 children. A friend for Savannah, a neighbor to entertain Will, and another neighbor to love Lila left me with plenty of extra arms & eyes.
Will has been surprisingly cooperative with his lessons. He's loving it.
Savannah has always been our water bug, so I expected her to enjoy it.
Lila continues to be my fabulous 3rd child, who sweetly takes her nap wherever she can get it.
The real magic of swimming lessons comes from LOTS (and I mean LOTS) of rides on the hotel's glass elevators when it's all over!
And, since everyone was so well-behaved, I just couldn't resist pulling my completely full car through the McDonald's drive-thru to order 6 ice cream sundaes. Our trampoline picnic was delicious.

I love all your pictures of Lila napping wherever you go. What a sweetheart.
What a great mom you are! You get your kids involved in so many things! How fun for them!
What a fun day! Very cool.
Hey! I went private. What is your email?? beckywyler@gmail.com
you are amazing jen!! all of those kids at swimming lesson- I'm stressed out seeing the photos!
I want to hold that sweet baby! Oh she's precious. Miss you guys so much. And how the heck do you get that child to nap on the go like that? Sage is a great napper, but she'll fight it to the very end if she's not in her bed. xoxo
