Instead of doing our usual at-home morning routine, I had a brilliant idea to take all of that energy out of the house & into the Galleria. We arrived at 8am and had the entire play area to ourselves. I discovered So many benefits to early-morning playtime at the mall:
- We got a front-row parking space for the car
- I wasn't frazzled by the worry of losing my children in all of the typical mall chaos
- I got a pretty serious workout joining the kids in long games of tag & hide-and-seek
- We enjoyed the company of the mall walkers who periodically cruised past us & admired my precious children
- By 10am, the kids were completely wasted. Will went home to a long morning nap while Savannah & I had time to read books together
- With all of the stores closed, we had gobs of fun without spending a dime!
