Thanksgiving Report

Our Thanksgiving trip to Arizona lasted an entire week.

We were so lucky to spend such a good amount of time enjoying Rod's family. He has 8 siblings, and since he's the only child that lives outside of the Mesa area, everyone entertains us royally when we're in town!
We love it!!

The week was jam-packed with dinners, parties, dancing, and LOTS of free babysitting!

Here's the entire gang:

And here are Rod's parents, with all 9 children:

A few more highlights of the trip...

Will helped Poppers fix the bike (a rite of passage for the Hinze boys!)

We partied at Makutu's Island (the biggest, best indoor play-area ever!)

Savannah rode a horse, with the help of cousin Jessica

Cousin Natalie took GREAT care of Savannah, all week long

Uncle Randy drove the gang around on his amazing desert toys

Will was introduced to (and completely loved) the Thanksgiving-Day Parade

While Savannah discovered "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross re-runs (Awesome!!!)

We admired the Temple lights two nights in a row (we just couldn't get enough!)

And met up with the Evans family at The Golden Spoon (the best frozen yogurt!)

We had so many more adventures that I didn't photograph...

- The Annual Hinze Family Dance (which deserves its own post)
- Wonderful dinner at Tadd & Heather's house (sorry we were late, guys!)
- Multiple homemade meals at Derek & Laura's house
- Cousin Chandler's birthday party
- Movie trip to see Twilight
- Fabulous Thai dinner with Tommy & Leigh
- Really, really, really good times with Christie Curtis
- Visits to Cafe Rio & Ned's Crazy Sub
- Tennis battles between Rod & Sam
- Dancing with the Stars Season Finale
- "School of the Muppets" with Brent
- Lots & lots of hanging out!

It was all so fun & all so busy & all so full of love.
Thank you, Hinze family, for showing us such a good time.
We can't wait to come back soon!!!!
