Christmas Countdown - December 12th

Today, we went to Savannah's preschool Christmas performance. It was adorable.

She sang a handful of songs, including "Go Tell it on the Mountain", "Away in a Manger", and "Jingle Bells".

She's in the very back row here, 4th person from the right side. Her white hair bow is all you can really see...

The Christmas performance was followed by a completely awesome trip (brought to us by Grandma) to Toys R Us. Call me crazy (or not) but I have never taken my kids there.

Savannah was completely blown away. She couldn't believe such a fabulous place existed. We spent a good two hours there, cruising the aisles, checking out the toys, and just having fun.

Grandma bought each of the kids a Christmas toy of their choosing. Savannah selected a big bead art project set. Will chose a "Cars" Playset. Lila chose a new bath chair.

Everyone was completely happy with their selections.

HOWEVER, nothing was as exciting as the "King Size" packages of Skittles that Grandma let them snag at the check-out line. Unbelievable.

Anna has never been to Toys 'R' Us either. However, she's always begging me to go to Target. There's nothing like a grandma that spoils a bit here and there.
