Hooray! A real Christmas Treat. She's staying for the entire week, and we couldn't be more excited.
One of the most endearing traits of my mother is her complete inability to "hold out" on surprises. If she has a gift to give, she just CAN NOT wait to give it!
So even though she packs enough kid treats to last the entire week, as soon as she arrives in Dallas, Grandma's suitcase falls open & the kids dive in. Stickers, books, toys, cars, clothes, the works! It all comes tumbling out & everyone just attacks the pile of surprises. It's awesome.
