Unfortunately, 2 hours before our 7pm flight, American Airlines left a voice-mail informing us that our flight had been canceled, and we had been "conveniently re-booked" on the 10pm flight.
Fortunately, by the time we got our crazy load of kids up to the gate, the only available seats were "complimentary" First Class! We all enjoyed flying in style!
The only in-flight picture I got...pretty pathetic, but you can see our fantastic leg room, along with Will's FAVORITE pair of shoes (I still can't believe I paid for Lightning McQueen footware, but the kid is in love!!!)
Unfortunately, by the time we de-boarded in Phoenix at 1am, the kids were EXHAUSTED
Fortunately, they got their second wind while waiting outside the airport for Daddy to pick up the rental car. I have never seen 2 happier kids--so excited to be in Arizona, so thrilled to be up WAY WAY WAY past their bedtime (which finally happened at 3am).
