Yoga For Kids!

Today, Savannah went to a Yoga class at our gym. Completely adorable.

I snuck in at the beginning to take a picture. Each child, with hands placed at heart center, had an opportunity to say what their hearts wished to "sprinkle" on the rest of the class. Savannah, not surprisingly, said, "I want to sprinkle rainbows".

I snuck in again at the end, to get a picture of Savannah in final savasana (corpse pose). I was completely impressed with her stillness. Savannah RARELY stops moving, even when she's asleep! Unfortunately, my flash caught her attention.

Good work, Savannah! Namaste.

This remind me of your dad trying to teach my mom how to do Yoga and my mom just laughing at him... Good memories. I think it is so fun that she is into everything she tries!

that is completely adorable! i bet it can be really good for them to be still like that - kids must be so overwhelmed with all the stimulation out there!
