(Surprised? I didn't think so.)
Apparently, Rod's father consistently felt inspired to bless his young son with "the gift of enthusiasm". So much so, that sweet Sarah finally requested her husband please STOP with that particularly blessing...she felt Rodney had quite enough enthusiasm, thank you very much.
It was obvious to us all from the start that Savannah inherited Rod's great gift of enthusiasm.
And now, 4 years later, it has come back to us full-force with Baby Lila.
Lila is happy, happy, happy, and busy, busy, busy. She ALWAYS has a smile to give, she NEVER stops moving (dressing her requires some serious upper-body strength), and she HATES to go to sleep.
Rod & I laugh to think about the adventures that Lila & Savannah have ahead of them...with sweet William stuck in the middle of it all!!
Lila is currently our resident worm. She belly-crawls ALL over the house, chasing after her older siblings. I'm quite tempted to attach a Swiffer to her tummy...she may as well properly clean the floors while she's at it.
These are a few pictures I snapped tonight, and this is pretty much the way she always looks. Enthusiastic.

She looks like she is so much fun!
I never see her without a huge smile.
