Swimming Sensation

I have to admit, I had gotten a bit skeptical of swimming lessons...
Savannah has always been comfortable in the water and, truth be told, I never had swimming lessons when I was a kid, and I think I turned out just fine.

But, I signed her up for 2 weeks at Dolfin Swim School this year & we are COMPLETELY amazed at the progress she made. Honestly, I'm still in shock. 2 weeks ago, she hated to go underwater & constantly complained about water up her nose. Today, I can't get Savannah to wear any type of floaty, even if I beg! She dives into the deep end without a second thought & has all the confidence in the world in her own swimming capabilities. Seriously, amazing.

We're so proud of you, Savannah!

Parent viewing day began with the official flag ceremony...

A picture that doesn't even come close to doing her swimming skills justice (I'll have to take some more!)

I agree, totally feel the same way about lessons. I remember thinking it was weird when I would see kids on TV with little plastic baby pools to swim in. Now, of course, I have one. Lincoln has no fear of the water. I'm so proud of Savannah for the progress she made. We will have to try and see each other soon again. Our kids need to play and so do I! LOVE the tractor picture by the way. We have serious obsessions at our house too. Linc knows all the "real" names, so unfortunately I can't call everything a "digger" now. He says, mom that is a backhoe! Hope you are feeling well. Miss you!
