Highland Park hosts the most adorable, quaint, patriotic 4th of July parade imaginable. We look forward to it every year, and this year, the kids were especially intrigued by all the festivities.
At the parade
Rod & Savannah, watching the band
Will, grinning about the stash of starlight mints he gathered from parade participants
We spent the afternoon at the movies, viewing "Wall-E". Rod & Jen just didn't love it. Savannah and Will, however, thought it was completely fantastic. After the movie, they ran all around the theatre, chasing & hugging each other.
Our evening was spent watching the Dallas Country Club fireworks show. We had a fantastic view & the kids thoroughly enjoyed the big spectacular!

I'm hearing not very good things about Wall-E. My sister's three-year -old had a hard time understanding it. Maybe we'll wait for it on redbox.
Happy Fourth to y'all!
THe kids are getting big. Any trips planned to Utah?

Looks like a fun 4th! I'm actually real sad we missed the Dallas Country Club fireworks, it has been our "firework" spot ever since we moved here! Oh well, maybe next year!
Fun holiday! It does look like a perfect little 4th of July celebration.
Your kids are so cute.
FYI - Brian and his wife Liz had their baby. Named him Porter and he is adorable!
