Dining Room Makeover

I've been on a big home project kick, and this week I tackled the dining room.

It's always been a super simple space, painted the same buttercream color as the living room.

It needed some snazzing up, so first I put up some beadboard...

And then I painted it blue. (A little bit darker than my kitchen.)

I just love it.

I also hung blue silk curtains in the living room, next to our latest *and best* piano addition.

The amazing Lilac painting is signed by Judith...my Grandma Jensen!
She painted it decades ago & recently let me steal it away from her.
It is absolutely perfect in my space, and it makes me think of her every day. The kids especially are so proud of it. What a treasure!

Savannah has been hard at work on the piano, mastering her first piece..."On Top of Spaghetti". Awesome.

Wow Jen. Everything is so beautiful.
I am still getting compliments on my Hinze Family Dance poster that you made for me. It hangs with pride in the family room. Thanks again.
