Some of our best moments included:
-Amazing day at the Arboretum, including a memorable hay ride!
-Evening picnic & outdoor "Big Band" concert at the Arboretum
-Special bonding time watching "Dancing with the Stars" (Savannah's second favorite television show)
-Special bonding time watching "The Lawrence Welk Show" (Savannah's new favorite television show...thanks a lot for introducing that one, Papa!)
-A special evening for Rod & Jen (dinner & the temple) while Grandma & Papa took care of the kids (SO nice!!!)
-Beautiful Sunday drive through the city
-Fun afternoon for Jen & Sarah, catching up on JFK history at Dealey Plaza
-Lots of tennis & workouts for Rod & Brent
-Fabulous homemade meals from Sarah (apple crisp, waffles, chicken noodle soup, lasagna, pumpkin pie...she's all over those comfort foods!!)
We just truly & completely enjoyed having them here, and we hated to see them go back to Arizona. Please come again soon!!!

The Lawrence Welk show?! Oh my! I remember my grandparents MAKING me watch that. It looks like you had your very own live Lawrence Welk show at that Arboretum big band performance. Bet Savannah loved that.
