A Royal Wedding Anniversary!

On April 29, 1999, Rod & I were married in the Oakland Temple.

12 years later, we are happy to share our wedding anniversary with this lovely couple...

I have to admit, I've always thought April 29th was an odd-sounding date...with no particular "ring" to it.

But now it all sounds just a bit fancier!

Rod, I love you so much & I am so grateful to be your wife.
Can't wait for Vegas, Baby!

Crawfish

Tonight our neighbors from Louisiana hosted their annual
crawfish boil.

Good Girls

Our three little Chinese hamsters are the best pets ever!

Despite all the warnings I received about people biting, cannibalizing, stinking, and more, our sweet girls have been pure delight.

A few month ago I added a pod to their cage, thinking they would use it as an extra space to nest. They decided, however, to use it as a potty. Brilliant! So, their messes are all contained and very easy to clean.

The hamsters are nocturnal and spend most of the day sleeping, snuggled up together in their favorite hiding spot.

They are all good sports, however, when the kids wake them for playtime. They even go along with minor humiliation like this

They spend the night exploring their cage, filling their cheeks with seeds, and running on the wheel together

We just love out little Sneakers, Nibbles, and Biscuit more than I ever imagined! They are such good girls.

Dolphin Cruise!

Undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. (Although Savannah is still claiming her late-night viewing of Beverly Hills Chuhauhau as her personal highlight...)

We love dolphins!!!
