Before heading back to the hospital, Rod couldn't resist making a quick stop at Academy Sports (his favorite place to be, when he can't be on the tennis court) to buy a new ankle brace. He was very irritated to find that, in order to find the right size, he needed to know the circumference of his foot. I snapped a picture at just the right time & it totally cracks me up. What a goofball!

Why am I not surprised that Rod managed to stop at Academy Sports while his newborn was chillin' at the hospital? Glad to see your priorities are still in order. We were rolling on the floor after reading your hospital escapee stories.
