A Funky Chicken Halloween!

Halloween for the Hinze family was a complete blast!
Savannah was a chicken, Jen's belly was an egg, and Rod was Bjorn Borg (I suppose classic tennis player costumes blend well with any Halloween theme!)
We had a fabulous neighborhood party, complete with Sal's Pizza, Frito Pie, pumpkin bread, and many other autumn treats! Access to our block was restricted to residents only, so we were free to roam the street & have a great time!
Savannah LOVES to trick-or-treat! It took her about 2 seconds to figure out how it worked, and then she was on a serious mission to collect candy! She loved running around with all of the kids & organizing her stash when we got home.
We love our Funky Chicken!

So cute. Now I get the dinner in a pumpkin--I was slightly confused on the phone yesterday, but now it makes sense. A great family tradition.

Jen, such cute pictures! No costume can ever match Rod's tennis pro. I love it- you all look great.
