This was by far the best day of our trip to Costa Rica! We hiked to the top of a dorment volcano (Cerro Chato), filled with rain water, in La Fortuna. It was the most remote place we have ever been. We struggled to the top of the volcano, through the jungle in the mud and swam in the rain water during the afternoon.
